MAPH Nimbus Drone Rod — Purpose-Built for Drone Fishing
Designed by drone anglers, for drone anglers, the MAPH Nimbus combines strength through the base with the flexibility needed at the tip to help keep your sinker connected.
Built on Mapheox Game Blanks using a carefully balanced combination of Japanese 30T and 40T carbon, every detail has been designed specifically for drone fishing—from the reel-seat position to the action of the blank.
The flexible tip allows you to set the correct line tension without prematurely releasing your grapnel sinker. When the pressure comes on, the powerful backbone provides the strength to control the fight and can deadlift 20kg at a 45° angle.
The reel seat is positioned low enough to reduce unnecessary reaching and arm strain, while remaining high enough for comfortable operation.
Overhead model
Fitted with a strong aluminium reel seat and flat reel foot support to help prevent side-to-side movement.
Spin model
Fitted with a proven Fuji reel seat designed to securely accommodate large game reels.
